“We enjoyed working with Spectrum. The design was great and their support in terms of developing the concepts was great.”

AVM Impact chose Spectrum Workplace to create a new vibrant breakout space design for their new office in Sunbury, London. The old canteen was tired and boring. Because of this staff were choosing to eat at their desks rather than use the canteen. The directors at AVM wanted to create a breakout space that staff would enjoy and would want to use.
The canteen was too small to accommodate their staff numbers so the breakout space was enlarged by including adjacent rooms. Our design team could also see potential for creating informal meeting spaces that would be used throughout the day. As a result the space became more than a canteen used just a lunchtime but a valuable meeting space.
Pipers Corner School were looking for a partner they could rely on to deliver their breakout space project successfully. They had a facilities manager but it was important that he didn’t need to get involved and therefore could focus on his own role. In addition they wanted to work with a design team that could create the fresh and vibrant design style they wanted.
One thing that set Spectrum Workplace apart at the design stage was the way we worked closely with them. In particular they appreciated the effort we put into the design and presentation to help them visualise the end result. As a result the design met their brief and the end result was an inspiring and motivating breakout space.
To illustrate here are some testimonials from some of the staff involved in the breakout space design and fitout process.
