“Thanks once again for helping us create such a vibrant, modern and welcoming space for the Society.”
COO, The Law Society
The Law Society used Spectrum Workplace to supply and install all new office furniture in their historic Chancery Lane offices. The Law Society is the independent professional body for solicitors and first started in 1825. Their headquarters at 113 Chancery Lane is a remarkable Grade 2 Star listed building and was also purpose built for the Law Society in 1832. The building has seven floors including the basement and also a mezzanine level.
The office furniture project was part of a complete refurbishment of the building following a redesign of their office space. They have now adopted a more flexible and agile working approach which also makes the most of their unique space. The building also includes many stunning features and rooms that are available to hire for events.
The furniture installation is being carried out in two phases in line with the main refurbishment project. There are roughly 300 workstations in the new flexible office layout and also many meeting areas. In total the project includes the supply and installation of nearly 2000 items of office furniture.
The Law Society needed an office furniture supplier they could trust to undertake this important project. Especially someone who would listen carefully their brief and take the time to understand their specific requirements. We have been working with The Law Society for a number of years now which therefore gave them confidence in our ability. Our team worked with The Law Society facilities team to achieve the best office design and layout and also colour scheme. In addition our operations and installation team performed brilliantly to deliver the office furniture project with no issues.
What was the end result for The Law Society of this office furniture project?
To answer that question, here are some testimonials from some of the staff involved in the office furniture specification and installation process.
“really impressed by the quality of the work, the finishes and overall look of the new areas and how it was such a contrast to the old style layout.”
