EDUCATION OPEN-PLAN REDESIGN. HINDHEAD.
Spectrum Workplace was selected to redesign and project manage the full refurbishment of OneSchool Global's Self Directed Learning (SDL) Centre as part of a broader campus modernisation programme. The project involved the removal of larger classrooms to create a invigorating, open plan space interspersed with focus zones to encourage independent learning, collaboration and student wellbeing for both primary and secondary students.
Our team provided complete project management, overseeing all aspects from concept through to installation. This included the removal of internal partitions, along with new flooring, upgraded LED lighting, fresh decoration, and high-performance educational furniture. The layout was carefully planned to ensure the space could support a variety of learning activities while remaining calm, ordered, and adaptable.

The new Learning Centre features defined zones for individual study, quiet reflection, and group collaboration. Flexible tables, soft seating, and acoustic pods were introduced to enable students and staff to easily transition between focused work and collaborative learning, while maintaining an open and connected atmosphere throughout the space.
