ELEVATING TEAM EXPERIENCE THROUGH DESIGN.
DPS Games approached this project with a clear vision: to create a workplace environment that puts people first. In the fast-moving world of game development, where ideas form rapidly and teams work dynamically, it was essential that the design of their space reflected and supported their culture.
The centrepiece of the project was the transformation of their deli counter and breakout area. More than just a space to grab food, this area was reimagined as a vibrant social hub. With seating for over 200 employees, it brings the design of their space needed to reflect together across departments and disciplines, encouraging informal collaboration, conversation, and creativity. Careful attention was given to the flow of the space, ensuring that movement is intuitive and comfort is prioritised through design & space planning.
The environment is visually warm, open, and inviting, whilst offering a perfect balance of functionality and design that gives the DPS Games team somewhere to unwind, connect, and re-energise.
A SPACE FIT FOR CREATIVE PRODUCTION.
While the deli area provides a space to recharge, the rest of the office was designed to deliver on performance. DPS Games needed a highly functional, agile workspace that supported every aspect of their creative pipeline, from early concept development to final audio production. We introduced a brand-new catering kitchen, fully fitted to meet the needs of a busy, in-house catering team. This space supports the wider company by enabling smooth service and efficient operations behind the scenes, ensuring the team is fuelled and focused.
Specialist soundproof audio rooms were created for recording gameplay, dialogue, and voiceovers. These rooms were built with premium acoustic insulation and designed to reduce sound transfer and distractions. In parallel, new private meeting rooms and executive offices were added to accommodate quiet focus work, client calls, and team reviews. Throughout the office and deli spaces, flexible furniture systems were installed to enable easy reconfiguration for both solo and collaborative working. We also implemented acoustic ceiling baffles over quiet zones to reduce ambient noise and enhance comfort and concentration.
