OFFICE DESIGN AND REFURBISHMENT PROJECT.

Oxford University Press chose to partner with Spectrum Workplace for a fast-track office design and refurbishment project within their Oxford head office building. They are the publisher of the world famous Oxford Dictionary and many other educational publications.

They were wanting to maximise the staff numbers within the space but also include more collaborative spaces. They recognised the need to provide quality spaces for informal meetings and collaboration for their teams.

The project included the design and light refurbishment of the office over a fast time-frame.

Oxford University Press were looking for a company who they could work with.

One of the key aspects of the project was that the whole refurbishment project needed to carried out over a long weekend. This was to include replacing the carpet, relocating power and data to suit the new desk positions and installation of new furniture. Having worked with the Spectrum team before they were happy to trust us to carry out the project over this very tight timescale. We are happy to say that the whole project went to plan and was carried out between a Wednesday evening and Sunday evening - working round the clock!
