An Office Quiet Zone or Quiet Space is an area of the office that is put aside for work requiring focus and concentration. It should also be available for anyone to use who needs it. A Quiet Space could be a designated area within a larger room or it could also be a small enclosed room, booth or pod. However it is becoming a standard part of a modern office for work that needs concentration and quiet to achieve a good result.
WHY DO YOU NEED AN OFFICE QUIET ZONE OR SPACE?
One of the most common complaints from office workers is that they don’t have anywhere to go where they can concentrate. The Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown has made people aware of the value of having peace and quiet. However it also has made them aware of the need for social interaction with their colleagues.
