THE WORKPLACE CONSULTANCY JOURNEY STARTS WITH ENVISIONING WHAT THE IDEAL WORKPLACE IS FOR YOUR COMPANY.
If you are thinking about the design and function of your office or workplace and how it will need to change in the coming years then we can help. Don’t jump to conclusions based on gut-feel or long-held assumptions. Start a Workplace Consultancy process to find the answers to questions like:
- What does our ideal office look like?
- How big should our office be?
- What is working well in our current workplace? And what isn’t?
- Should we even have an office?
- How should we manage the Working From Home requirement?
- Should we be considering Hybrid Working? What is Hybrid Working?
- Which design and style will best reflect and enhance our company culture?
- What should our workplace and workstyle strategy be in the future?

THE WORKPLACE CONSULTANCY JOURNEY
There are 3 main stages to a typical workplace consultancy journey – Visioning, Discovery and Strategy. In some ways in more of a decision making process - you know where you need to get to but not sure of the best route.
VISIONING
The Visioning stage is where you start with a clean sheet of paper (or screen). We then use a program of surveys, interviews and workshops, involving the key stakeholders. This should then establish a clear vision for your future workstyle and office space.
DISCOVERY
Using a range of studies we will establish your current position. This will include space utilisation levels, requirements for storage, working styles and activity based working patterns, technology provision and take-up etc. A key part is an employee questionnaire on their experience in the current work environment and generating a benchmark score that can be monitored and developed.
STRATEGY
Taking the results and data from the visioning and discovery stages we interrogate, analyse and ponder to make sense of it all. Once it has been put into order and presented in an understandable form we can draw conclusions and formulate a strategy.
A comprehensive strategy for your workplace and working style will cover many aspects. These include look and feel to technology needs, from size and location to well-being. It will also include change management recommendations to ensure a successful implementation.
The key output from the whole Workplace Consultancy process is a detailed design brief. This can be used as a sound starting point for any future changes to your workplace or way of working.
WHAT IS HYBRID WORKING?
Hybrid Working is when organisations move to a combination of working in the office and working from home. Therefore a definition of hybrid working could be "a work style that involves working from home as well as working from the office".
