Eight Financial Advice

Relocating a premium, trusted financial advisory firm into a new timeless and elegant HQ.

Spectrum Workplace created a calm, contemporary headquarters for Eight Financial Advice. It now reflects professionalism, trust and personal service, and was carefully designed to enhance the client experience, employee wellbeing and support business growth.

“Every design decision was made to support both the client experience and the day-to-day needs of the teams working there.”

From the outset, the ambition of this relocation project was to create a workplace that enhances the experience of employees and clients alike, while providing a strong platform for continued business growth.

The design approach centred on creating an environment that balances openness with privacy. Financial advice is built on trust and personal relationships, making it essential that the workplace provides both a welcoming atmosphere and the confidentiality required for sensitive conversations. The resulting layout carefully zones advisory offices, team workspaces, meeting rooms and shared environments, creating a seamless journey throughout the headquarters while maintaining a consistent sense of comfort and professionalism.

Client experience was a key driver throughout the project. Particular attention was given to the arrival sequence and client-facing areas, ensuring visitors are welcomed into an environment that feels calm, reassuring and approachable from the moment they enter. Every aspect of the design was considered through the lens of the client journey, reinforcing the confidence and trust that underpin Eight Financial Advice’s service offering.

Internally, the workplace supports a variety of working styles and activities. Dedicated advisory offices provide privacy for client consultations, while collaborative areas encourage knowledge sharing and teamwork across the wider business. Breakout and informal meeting spaces create opportunities for interaction and connection, helping to foster a positive workplace culture and strengthen relationships between teams.

A refined and timeless design language was adopted throughout the headquarters. Warm timber finishes, soft neutral tones and subtle brass detailing create a premium yet understated aesthetic that reflects the maturity and professionalism of the organisation. Carefully integrated blue and green accents reference the company’s brand identity, while extensive planting introduces warmth, wellbeing and visual calm across the workspace.

By combining professional advisory environments with collaborative team spaces and a hospitality-led experience, the workplace enhances productivity, strengthens culture and reinforces the organisation’s reputation as a trusted financial adviser.

Overall, the project demonstrates how thoughtful workplace design can positively influence both employee and client experience. The result is a sophisticated and timeless headquarters that supports business growth while providing a calm, welcoming and reassuring environment for clients and staff alike.
