Acopia

An industrial workplace refurbishment for a packaging solutions company, creating a modern office that enhances growth and efficiency.

We worked with the leadership team at Acopia. Their project desire was creating a more vibrant and functional workplace for a growing organisation operating within the packaging and retail consumables industry. As the business continued to expand, there was a clear requirement to reconfigure and modernise the existing office environment to better accommodate increasing headcount, improve operational efficiency and create a more engaging workplace for employees.

From the outset, the ambition was to deliver a workspace that would reflect the company’s progressive and service-driven ethos while supporting a more collaborative and flexible way of working. The existing layout was carefully reviewed and re-planned to improve spatial efficiency, circulation and connectivity between teams. This enabled a more open and coherent workplace environment that supports communication and day-to-day operational effectiveness.

A key focus of the project was enhancing the employee experience and creating a workplace that supports both productivity and wellbeing. A range of collaborative spaces and informal breakout areas were introduced to encourage interaction, idea sharing and social connection throughout the working day. These spaces act as important cultural anchors within the office, helping to strengthen team cohesion and improve overall workplace satisfaction.

The design also prioritised creating a professional yet approachable environment that reflects Acopia Group’s brand identity. A contemporary material palette was introduced, combining clean lines, durable finishes and subtle branding elements to create a cohesive and modern workplace aesthetic. The result is a space that feels both functional and engaging, supporting day-to-day operations while reinforcing the company’s external image.

Flexibility was a key driver throughout the scheme, ensuring the workplace can adapt to future business requirements. A variety of working environments were incorporated, including open-plan workstations, collaborative zones and quieter focus areas, allowing employees to move seamlessly between different modes of work depending on task and requirement.

Improved meeting and support spaces were also introduced to enhance internal communication and provide more effective environments for both formal and informal collaboration. These upgrades help to support more efficient working practices and enable teams to operate more effectively across departments.

Delivered through close collaboration with the client team, the project required careful planning and coordination to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing business operations. Strong project management and attention to detail ensured the refurbishment was delivered efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality throughout.

The completed workplace now provides Acopia Group with a modern, flexible and people-focused office environment that supports operational performance, strengthens internal culture and enhances employee experience. It creates a more connected and efficient workplace that reflects the organisation’s continued growth and ambition.

Overall, the project demonstrates how thoughtful workplace refurbishment can transform a growing commercial business environment into a high-performing workspace that supports both people and business success.
